Accelerating Fuel Cell Testing for Mobile Application

Fuel cells have made their way into many applications, and driven by these, different specific needs and development tasks must be met, to optimize the system and its calibration – and with this, testing needs. Fuel cell system development for a fuel cell truck focuses more on the integration into existing platforms and optimization of the thermal system, for example, whereas for the development of an airplane system, it is the holistic systemic approach and meeting the extreme testing needs of a DO-160 that are important. Powered by this, AVL developed a modular solution for fuel cell system testing. Instead of a single solution for all purposes, there is a dedicated solution to meet specific customer needs.
