I WAS RATHER IMPRESSED
WITH THE IMMERSIVE
3D ENVIRONMENT
TO LOOK AT CELL DESIGN
THAT I TRIED OUT AT
THE AVL CONFERENCE
BACK IN JUNE. I THINK
IT’S A GREAT WAY TO
DESIGN, AND A GREAT
COMMUNICATION
TOOL FOR POTENTIAL
CUSTOMERS IN THE
LONGER TERM.

combining AVL VR Technology
with the latest 3D scanning technology
we are able to bring a customer’s
existing infrastructure into our
3D design environment. With this
method we can see where improvements,
conversions and upgrades
could be made, what the restrictions
are and where efficiencies could be
gained before any real-world activities
have even taken place. This ensures
that when the work actually
occurs, the quality will be higher, it
will happen more quickly, and errors
will be greatly reduced.
AVL VR Technology enables us to
put the customer experience first
and offer detailed planning to such
an extent that it differentiates us
from the rest of the market. This
year we will be showcasing the tool
at more than 20 trade fairs, and extending
the technology even further.
