electric powertrains still face challenges. Managing development

At this year’s AGRITECHNICA trade fair in Hanover, AVL
unveiled a concept that will provide a solution to many of these
challenges. Our new, modular electrified powertrain platform
is ideal for a wide range of agricultural applications and comprises
a power chassis with interchangeable cab modules.
This flexible approach can be applied to a wide number of applications and
reduces system costs. In addition to providing traction, the power chassis
is a source of both electrical power and hydraulic power, and optionally
pneumatic power for pneumatic trailer brakes.
