“We believe that this important project can provide an appealing basis for
cooperation with AVL even in fields beyond chassis dyno testing. For
Bertrandt there is much more to come, and we need strong partners to
walk this path with us,” says Matthias Rühl, Director Powertrain/Chassis
at Bertrandt Group.
The sites will not only help OEMs to meet their RDE and WLTP responsibilities
but also serve as a relevant development environment for conventional
and alternative powertrains. Construction on the first phases of the project
began in April this year. With a substantial share on the total project value
of EUR 80 M, this turnkey project again sees AVL as an expert in the delivery
of vital infrastructure for the evolution of the automotive industry.
