Entrance of the new California Air Resources Board (CARB) headquarters in Southern California,
the most advanced emission testing and research facility on 380,000 square feet.
To further encourage the development of this clean, advanced
technology, AVL invests heavily in the next generation
of engineers and researchers. AVL partnered with
the University of California Riverside and universities
across the United States to test concepts and provide
training on state-of-the-art tools and technology that will
be used in the CARB lab.
In early 2019, these efforts to support CARB’s vision
were recognized by the Austrian Trade Commission at
the tenth annual USA-BIZ AWARDs, an event that celebrates
Austrian companies for their achievements in the
United States market. As the innovation category winner,
AVL is proud to deliver advanced solutions that help
move the world toward a more sustainable future.
