The AVL SHED FID SL™ analyzer is designed for measuring diluted Total Hydrocarbon (THC) emissions, especially for SHED applications. It is characterized by its unique, space-saving slim design, which enables easy installation directly at the SHED chamber or on a testbed wall.

Staying compliant with current and upcoming regulations, such as GTR19, China 7, and EPA 40 CFR part 1065/1066, can be complex and resource-intensive. Furthermore, adapting to a wide range of SHED dimensions and applications requires a flexible and scalable measurement solution. And in many cases, it is hard to find cost-effective solutions that can be easily integrated into existing systems, whether for modernization, replacement, or retrofit purposes. With the AVL SHED FID SL™ we have created a solution to these challenges. 

The SHED FID SL is designed for all SHED applications. It ideally combines application-based requirements and solutions in a cost-efficient and highly integrated way. The wide and flexible measuring range covers all SHED dimensions and applications including BETP bleed emissions (Passive and Micro SHED). It complies to current and upcoming legislations including GTR19, China 7, EPA 40 CFR part 1065/1066. Retention and leakage verification can be optimally performed using the iCAL CFO Ultra for precise ultra-low emission simulations. This package sets a new milestone and is available for modernizations, replacements, and retrofits.

All-in-One Solution

The AVL SHED FID SLTM analyzer is the first choice for precise determination of THC concentrations in all SHED applications. All necessary components for independent operation are housed within a small-sized cabinet: a wide-range power supply, controller, FID chamber, heated sample pump, span gas and analyzer valve unit as well as a network router. Even the regulator circuits for two heated lines to and from the SHED chamber are already included. The system can be operated via an integrated multi-touch Panel PC or an external PC using the intuitive iGEM software or remotely controlled via AK interface by an automation system (e.g., AVL SHEDCon). Additionally, the software includes a diagnostic check package for compliance with regulation.

Slim Design

The AVL SHED FID SL can be wall-mounted directly at an e.g. AVL SHED chamber. It features a compact design with a smaller footprint compared to conventional models. Thanks to the top-hinged cover, all inside components can be easily reached.

User-Friendly Interface

The intuitive iGEM Device Center software ensures quick and straightforward execution of checks, with clear visualization of results for efficient analysis (e.g., linearity check).
