AVL Acquires Dacolt

Fast, High-Quality CFD Analysis

Graz-based AVL List GmbH, a high-tech company with operations around the world, has acquired innovative software specialist Dacolt, based in Maastricht, Netherlands. Within the scope of AVL’s Advanced Simulation Technologies, Dacolt will help to create new simulation applications in the field of industrial combustion. AVL CEO Helmut List: “This is a major move toward expanding and strengthening AVL’s expertise.”

Dacolt is known for its state-of-the-art detailed chemistry software Tabkin® and CFD engineering services (CFD – computational fluid dynamics) for engine-related and industrial combustion applications.
