Automated ADAS/AD Testing with AVL Scenario Simulator™

We have recently launched AVL Scenario Simulator™, the optimal tool for efficient, automated ADAS/AD testing. This three-part webinar series introduces you to Scenario Simulator and demonstrates its seamless integration with our AVL SCENIUS™ toolchain.

In this series, you will find out how Scenario Simulator can speed up your development cycles by providing frequent functional test feedback. Learn to build optimal virtual prototypes using cost-optimized, fully automated test scenarios equipped with high-performance, lightweight models and open interfaces. This approach ensures maximum flexibility and easy integration with your ADAS/AD software and other simulation tools.

You will also discover Scenario Simulator’s highlights like its high-performance statistical sensor models, which enable scalable closed-loop testing without the need for resource-intensive physical/raw sensor simulation. This is crucial as the number of sensors increases with higher levels of automation.
To provide hands-on experience, this series includes a training session. You will gain a better understanding of typical user workflows, integrating and testing ADAS/AD software in a virtual environment. Additionally, you'll learn how to use our Python API to automate integration and simulation as part of a DevOps pipeline.

Virtual Development of E-Axles

Electrified vehicles (EVs) are measured by their performance, range and cost. In addition, a compact powertrain design is desired, which by design has an impact on vibration behaviour and comfort.

The almost silent operation of e-motors makes the vehicles quieter, but means that the various noises and vibrations are no longer masked by engine noise. In order to offer the customer a perfect driving experience, vehicle manufacturers and system suppliers must address these acoustic challenges as early as possible in the development process.

Meaningful virtual twins map all these events exactly and thus give you a realistic impression of the behaviour of the components and systems. In this way, you can make optimisation based on data even without a physical prototype, thus ensuring the requirements in terms of driving pleasure and comfort.

AVL EXCITE™ M is an innovative multi-body dynamics software solution for the analysis of drive units. The tool calculates the dynamics, vibration and acoustics of combustion engines, transmissions and complete ICE-based or electrified drive units up to pure e-axles.
