With the new AVL M.O.V.E iS portfolio, AVL introduces a complete and tailored solution for Real Driving Emissions. AVL as market leader offers the best-in-class performance, by generating maximum valid test results under all different test conditions.

Efficient and reliable solutions

The AVL M.O.V.E iS system is the complete and tailored solution for Real Driving Emissions testing of passenger cars and consists of the following modules:

AVL M.O.V.E System Control

… for central data control and acquisition

AVL M.O.V.E GAS PEMS iS

… for measuring gaseous emissions

AVL M.O.V.E PN PEMS iS

… for counting particle number

AVL M.O.V.E EFM

… for measuring exhaust flow

AVL CONCERTO M.O.V.E

… for automatic legislative post processing

The M.O.V.E iS System has been designed for easy installation on the tow bar of a passenger car. The AVL M.O.V.E GAS PEMS iS is a compact and robust portable device for measuring the NO/NO2 and CO/CO2 tailpipe exhaust concentrations of Diesel- and Gasoline vehicles achieving comparable results to today’s test bed raw emission measurement systems.

Leaving the well-conditioned surroundings of a testbed, particle measurement under real

driving conditions reveals new challenges for particle emission test equipment, such as vibrations, inclinations, accelerations as well as temperature and pressure drops. Moreover, an efficient pre-treatment is necessary to ensure precise and reproducible measurements for the

entire bandwidth of possible real driving conditions.

The AVL M.O.V.E PN PEMS module features an outstanding robustness against vibrations,

tilting, vehicle accelerations and extended environmental conditions (-10 … 45°C, up to 3,000m altitude) and ensures highest long term sensor stability based on a unique continuous zero compensation. Highest accuracy and repeatability can be achieved by the extended sensor measurement range and therefore low required dilution rates.
