Highest honor: Uwe Dieter Grebe elected SAE Fellow

Society of Automotive Engineers honors Uwe Dieter Grebe

Uwe Dieter Grebe, Executive Vice President, AVL has been a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers for over 20 years. The manager has now been elected an SAE Fellow. The Fellow status is the SAE's highest honor. It recognizes professionals who have significantly influenced the mobility industry through leadership, research activities, innovation and volunteerism.

Graz, Austria, May, 2024: The Society of Automotive Engineers is a global association consisting of more than 128,000 engineers and technical experts from aerospace, automotive and commercial vehicle industries. Only a handful of long-standing members are elevated to the SAE Fellow status each year, which was introduced in 1975. They are elected by a committee and are recognized for their outstanding contributions to the mobility industry. At the "SAE World Congress Experience" in Detroit, Uwe Dieter Grebe, Executive Vice President, AVL, was now honoured with the award.
