About Us

AVL Croatia was founded in 1996 with headquarters in Zagreb as a member of the AVL List GmbH. As a strategic partner, we are mainly oriented to software production, electrification, creating and implementing software solutions for simulation, testing and optimization of all types of propulsion systems for passenger and commercial vehicles. We are a significant partner to a large number of car manufacturers worldwide who, due to stringent environmental standards and fuel consumption reduction, need to continuously improve their products.

Formula Student
Over the last 15 years we are actively supporting FSB Racing Team. We are sponsoring the team with various software tools (AVL VSM, AVL Cruise M, AVL Model.CONNECT), our knowledge and support and student internships.
Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER)
Working closely with FER gives us a direct connection to future employees and opens new doors to various projects with students and the faculty’s staff.
Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture (FSB)
We have been cooperating closely for many years through student work, industrial internships, graduate theses and doctoral studies. Special emphasis is placed on cooperation with the Department of IC Engines and Motor Vehicles, Department of Power Plants
