We offer digital and analog pressure sensors for measuring pressure in liquid and gaseous media. Special hydrogen-resistant pressure sensors are available for fuel cell testing. The CANopen driver, required for AVL’s digital pressure sensors, is included in all AVL PUMA 2™ software solutions. This deep integration in the automation system allows easy parameterization, data acquisition in real-time, and automatic zero offset compensation.

Pressure sensors are required to ensure that the Unit Under Test (UUT) is tested in defined, safe operating conditions (oil, water, turbo-charge pressure, etc.). Our unique pressure sensors support the development of various types of Unit Under Test in order to deliver improved performance and efficient operation.

High Performance Digital and Analog Pressure Sensors

Versatile pressure sensors for gaseous and liquid media, characterized by outstanding specifications such as

  • Total error band of typ. 0.1% FS (including all errors such as temperature, non-linearization, offsets, etc.) 
  • Wide media temperature range from -40°C to +120°C
  • High data acquisition rate of up to 1kHz
  • Compatible with media containing 0% to 100% hydrogen

CANopen Pressure Sensor C-FEM-P

A high-end digital sensor deeply integrated into the automation system AVL PUMA 2™. Data is transferred from the pressure sensor to the automation system at up to 1,000 Hz in real time. 
A special hydrogen-resistant variant is available for fuel cell testing.

Analog Pressure Sensor APT100

The measurement box can house up to eight independent miniature CANopen pressure sensors. With sampling rates of up to 200 Hz per sensor, you can even monitor and record dynamic pressure signals. The sensor processor features include temperature compensation, linearization, and digital filtering. You can also exchange each pressure sensor individually
