  • Requirements: typical educational requirements include working towards a relevant degree.
  • Objective: at AVL North America, we prioritize equipping current students with valuable experience in their desired areas of interest throughout the Summer.
  • Areas of work: our program supports a wide range of areas, including technical and corporate teams.
  • Requirements: Interns must be currently enrolled and pursuing their education, and we make an effort to accommodate class schedules when possible.

We understand the challenges students face balancing classes and internships as they return to school in the Fall, which is why we strive to be flexible and accommodating to ensure a successful experience for all interns.

Our HR team will begin recruiting for the Summer internship roles during the winter months. However, some internships are based upon project need and may be opened throughout the year.

Unfortunately, majority of our internship roles require permanent work authorization in the U.S, with the exception to consider Canadian citizens for our AVL TSI Canada internships.

Yes, all AVL North America internships are paid hourly and compensation amounts are discussed during the interview process.

Aside from submitting an official application, a high school diploma is required in addition to the ongoing pursuit of a higher educational degree.

The length of an internship will typically cover the full Summer (if applying for a Summer intern role), however, we do our best to provide flexibility if the student can only work a certain amount of hours through a week. Even when the student returns to school during the Fall, we try to make accommodations to continue their support and discuss this throughout the internship.

With a graduation date in mind, the continuance of the internship and/or the offering of a direct hire role upon graduation will be discussed and communicated to the intern.

We recommend communicating with an AVL North America HR team member via LinkedIn for general interest. As always, it is highly recommended to officially apply to the role for a quick response from our team.
