AVL Italia is proud to announce its new role as a co-founder of the prestigious Fondazione Venezia Capitale/Venice Sustainability Foundation (VSF). This strategic partnership underscores AVL Italia’s commitment to fostering innovation and sustainable development in the region.
The Venice Sustainability Foundation aims to promote Venice as a global hub for culture, technology, and environmental sustainability. By joining forces with the foundation, AVL Italia will contribute its expertise in advanced technologies and engineering solutions to support the foundation’s mission.
The partnership will focus on several key areas, including green mobility, renewable energy, and smart city solutions. AVL Italia’s cutting-edge research and development capabilities will play a crucial role in driving these initiatives forward.
This collaboration marks a significant milestone for AVL Italia and reaffirms its dedication to making a positive impact on society and the environment.
Renato Brunetta, President of Venice Sustainability Foundation, stated: "We welcome with pleasure this excellent new entry among the members of our Foundation, confident that AVL Italia will promptly engage in a constructive relationship with the other partners on the many ongoing projects. Together, we will collaborate on the Venice City Campus program to further develop the knowledge economy in our region, as well as in the working groups dedicated to the hydrogen supply chain – a topic we will address at the October ‘Venice Hydrogen Forum’ – and in various energy and ecological transition initiatives."
Dino Brancale, Managing Director of AVL Italia, commented: "We are proud to be part of the Venice Sustainability Foundation. For years, we have been working on energy and environmental transition and the new technologies that must or can support it, also from the perspective of sustainable finance and ESG policies. Being in Venice, members of VSF, and part of a network of expertise and actors who actively work to achieve the ecological goals that all of Europe has set for itself, makes us say that we are in the right place at the right time."
