Vehicle development is changing. In the past, the development process was hardware-centric and based on the classic V-model. The primary tasks were optimization and calibration. There were dedicated test cases on a dedicated test bench at a specific point in the project process.
The change is reflected in an increase in functional testing, or verification testing. This involves checking requirements and specifications. We are now in a software-centric development phase, where software or software packages are increasingly tested, as they often have to interact with each other in a variety of areas.
In this webinar, our expert Helmut Richter explains what approaches are available to reduce costs and why a high-voltage system testbed is an ideal test environment for performing software release tests.
