The driving robot system DRICON plays a key role in this process by providing precise, repeatable control over the vehicle’s throttle and braking pedals. 

DRICON is a standard robotic system for the automated, computer-controlled driving of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. The integration of DRICON enables automated tests through precise and repeatable test cycles. This allows engineers to efficiently collect reliable and repeatable measurement data under safe test conditions. Additionally, different human driving styles are eliminated – even in demanding test environments. Thus, DRICON provides reliable insights that are essential for product quality, compliance, certification, homologation, and overall performance validation in vehicle development.

Weighing only 20 kg, it is perfect for a wide range of tests, including range tests for battery electric vehicles, endurance tests, catalyst loading, and discharge tests for hybrid models. Compatible with Windows 10 and above, its streamlined design ensures easy installation across various vehicle types.
