The effort on features design and validation is significantly increasing with higher automation levels and coming safety legislations. The ADAS / AD industry is looking for solutions to reduce efforts to a manageable level. New approaches are required to: optimize the number of test cases; increase test coverages; set objective targets and metrics in order to ensure customer satisfaction across all markets.Furthermore, objective KPI performance criteria including their evaluation in real-time are the two pillars for development efficiency and optimization of the user experience and perceived comfort of ADAS features. A comprehensive set of methods is therefore required to optimize the trade-off between efficiency and quality of the results.
