Application Process

Would you like to become part of the AVL team, but don't know how to apply? Don't worry, we have created a guide for you that explains our application process step by step until you are potentially employed at AVL.

Check out our open positions quickly and easily in our online job portal. After the decision of a suitable position, simply click on the "Apply" button. If you do not find a suitable position now, you are welcome to apply here on a speculative basis.

To begin, you need to register on our online job portal. All fields marked with an asterisk (*) need to be filled in to continue with the application process. Once you have completed the mandatory fields, you can upload your CV. While we appreciate a cover letter, we review applications even without it to simplify the process for your convenience. Do not forget to submit your application by clicking on "Apply".

Once your application has been submitted, it will be reviewed by the recruiting department. While we aim to respond as quickly as possible, this may take a while due to the large number of applications we receive. If you are not shortlisted this time, we will of course let you know. Please feel free to apply again at the next opportunity and keep an eye on our open jobs.

If you are a good fit for the position, your application will be forwarded to the relevant technical department. This department will now also take a close look at your application and provide feedback on the next steps as soon as possible. The recruitment department will keep you updated all the time.

Upon receiving feedback from the relevant head of department, we will contact you to arrange an initial interview. These interviews take place either remotely (over the phone) or face-to-face, depending on the circumstances.

Another interview will then take place between you and a member of the relevant technical department, as well as with someone from our recruitment team (Sometimes the application process may require more than one further interview).

To keep the process as simple as possible, there is no second interview for internship positions.

Once the interview process is complete, and we think you are a fitting candidate for the role, we will contact you to make an offer. To make this process as simple as possible, the offer will be sent in digital form.
