Markus Tomaschitz has held the role of Vice President Corporate HR since 2015, and was appointed Chief Human Resources Officer and Company Spokesperson of AVL in 2021.
He studied business administration at the University of Graz and completed his MBA at the California State University. Afterwards, he held various positions in the industry, including Managing Director of FH JOANNEUM GmbH, Executive Director at Magna Education and Research GmbH, and member of the European Board of Magna International Europe AG. In addition to his role at AVL, Markus Tomaschitz is also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of FH JOANNEUM, University of Applied Sciences.
