Moreover, the many tighter regulations require a lot of effort to ensure the corresponding measurement uality. With AVL ParticleScale, AVL presents a universal solution for managing sample fi lters as used for part icle measurement in emission tests. The intel ligent particle fi lter management supports the user in the weighing process and offers easy handling of test and reference fi lters as well as reference weights throughout the whole fi lter life cycle. SOLUTION AVL ParticleScale fi ts ideally into the eisting AVL automation system environment and leads the operator through the whole weighing process. Corresponding to the selected test cycle and/ or numer, size and confi guration of the reuired sample fi lters as well as the compulsory conditioning time are automatically pre-defi ned and used in the ow control. Every fi lter runs through different states controlled by the program, beginning with pre-conditioning and ending with the weighing of the loaded fi lter and its disposal.
