Independent of the engine speed and torque, temperature and humidity are kept within small tolerances. To control the pressure under dynamic conditions, AVL offers the ynamic Package with a very short delay time 3 sec.. CONTROL PRINCIPLE The intake air temperature is adjusted by cooling and heating and the humidity y cooling and moistening. The desired pressure is increased y the lower or decreased with throttle valves. An internal air re-circulation system also provides high control response at low air ow rates. APPLICATION There is road range of applications covered y the fi ve standard units. For special applications, tailored systems can e delivered. The customer can choose etween THP stationary ACS-Mode – closed air inlet to the engine) or TH dynamic (TCS-Mode – open air inlet to the engine. Climate chamers and altitude simulations of several thousand meters enable simulation of extreme conditions on the tested.
