Matthias Dank rejoined AVL in the role of Executive Vice President for global business development, sales, and international operations in the Instrumentation and Test Systems Division in 2023.
The engineer and mathematician has more than 20 years of professional experience in product and technology development, engineering management, and business transformation. Between 2010 and 2020, he was responsible for the Motorsport business in AVL's Instrumentation and Test Systems Division. In 2020 he was appointed Director of Motorsports at McLaren Applied, a world-renowned company in electronics, communications, electrification, software, and analytics.
In 2023, he returned to AVL, bringing in particular his expertise in business development and global sales related to complex systems, software, analytics and digitization.
