AVL Showcases Leadership in Emission Standards at Euro 7 Webinar

AVL joined the webinar "Opportunities of the New Euro 7 Regulation", organized by the Repsol Foundation and the Spanish Association of Automotive Professionals (ASEPA). This event brought together associations, manufacturers, and industry experts to analyze the details, opportunities, and challenges posed by the new European emissions regulation.

With the approval of the new Euro 7 regulation, stricter emission limits for vehicles have been established. However, the initially proposed deadlines have been eased, opening up opportunities for manufacturers to maintain their business competitiveness while ensuring compliance.

Jaime Rodríguez, Mobility Technologies General Manager, was one of the featured speakers, presenting on the "Technological Impacts of Euro 7 on Propulsion Systems." In his presentation, he shared AVL's vision and developments in this technology, highlighting its potential to reduce emissions and accelerate the transition to more sustainable mobility.

Jaime was joined by a panel of recognized industry experts, including Alberto Lozano Rivas, Head of the Network of Chairs and Open Room at the Repsol Foundation, who brought his vast experience in innovation and academic collaboration; Rosa Delgado Ortiz, Senior Manager of Light Vehicle and Powertrain Engineering at Idiada Applus, who offered her practical and technical perspective on the challenges posed by the new regulations; Rafael Pitarch Berná, Product Design Scientist at Repsol Techlab, who shared his knowledge on the development of sustainable products; and Jesús Casanova Kindelán, Emeritus Professor at the Polytechnic University of Madrid who provided his academic insight and extensive experience in the field.

This webinar highlighted the importance of the debate on sustainability and the transition to cleaner technologies, reinforcing AVL's leadership in implementing technological strategies that meet the most demanding standards.
