Thermal conditions and environment of Units Under Test have strong impacts on real results in driving. For this reason, the thermal simulation must be as exact as possible – which can be achieved via deployment of high performing media conditioning systems.

While conventional trainsets and locomotives are powered by either overhead power lines or diesel fuel, battery and fuel cell powered trains are gaining traction in the rail market. To support the development and validation of these technologies, know-how transfer from the automotive industry is needed.
